Shelby SuperCars (SSC) announced plans to create the first 100% Green Supercar – the Ultimate Aero EV (Electric Vehicle). The green car will start testing in Feb 2009 and will be in production before the end of 2009. Engineering details are yet not disclosed.
I think we can do it faster, leaner and cleaner than any other manufacturer.
Other auto manufacturers have sacrifices performance and aesthetics in an exchange for the hybrid power plants, however Ultimate Aero EV with bring the pollution free, engineering wonder with the exotic Supercar exterior.
After broken the one world record, SSC will soon crack an engineering challenge.
The coolest thing about this car is they said they were going to do something and then they did it.

While other makers run to capture the Green hysteria of a late, SSC will jump over the barrier with the fraction of Big 3’s budget. Consistent with their industry philosophy of being a benchmark, Shelby SuperCars plans next to break a record for the best electric car in the world.
