March 27th, 2009, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) has launched the new variant of its gearless scooter, Honda Activa.
- The new Activa Deluxe will be having a 110cc engine
- The new Activa Deluxe will also sport a combined braking feature which will allow the vehicle to come to a complete halt by pressing even one break - a benefit for those who are often not sure which break to press first.
- Metallic body parts in the new Honda Activa Deluxe will be lighter in weight which will enable better vehicle handling and will also increase the mileage of the vehicle.
- Cosmetic changes include some sticker job and an illuminated luggage box.
